CIP pools

The university has set up computer rooms for its students at around 30 locations across the cities of Erlangen and Nuremberg. FAU students can access the computers, printers and scanners in the CIP pools after activating their IdM ID. The RRZE provides a list with the exact locations of the CIP pools.

For MAP students, the CIP pools 0.157 EEI (Cauerstr. 7) and 00.157 WW (Martenstr. 5/7) grant access without previous activation every day during given operating hours, except for public holidays or weekends without prior written permission. Additionally, it is advisable to check the status of the EEI CIP room on campo by searching the term “11501.00.157”, since this specific room can be booked and therefore would not be available for anyone else.
